Many people believe that if they are meek, gullible, well-meaning, helpful, obliging, accommodating, and tolerant of the whims of the times and of other people, this is an expression of love. Many people are willing to give away their last shirt, yet they cling stubbornly to their inner patterns, opinions, and blockages. What is an outward expression of love has no inner equivalent. This means that one day these people will no longer be able to keep the promise they make to themselves and their fellow human beings through their behavior.
