JJK: I woke up today with the question: what can people whose lives are dominated by certain recurring themes and problems do to find a way out? I know many people who are constantly faced with the same unresolved situations, the same difficulties—like a boomerang that keeps coming back—and simply cannot find a way out. They seem to be helplessly at the mercy of circumstances, and all their efforts fail. Some even engage in intensive transformational work, but as soon as they are faced with their mother, father, husband, wife, guru, pastor, or boss again, they cannot utter a word and fail to achieve clarity. Relationship work is bound to fail if people do not act on what they clearly feel inside and reinforce it with words and deeds. So what can these people do who are so entangled that their problems repeat themselves over and over again and come back to them like a boomerang?
One day…
BABAJI: The answer lies in the maturity of the soul and in the pain that has already been experienced.
One day in a lifetime, every person steps out of a game – in which everything there was to learn has been learned and everything there was to experience has been experienced.
The answers and solutions are often on the table long before the person takes action. Especially for people who do inner healing work, the WHY and the HOW are no secret, but an open book. Finding the strength to move things forward and change situations in practical ways is the challenge these people sometimes face throughout many lifetimes. Often, these people have become so accustomed to their suffering that they can hardly imagine life without it. The fear of change is greater than the fear of never leaving behind the repeatedly felt powerlessness and failure.
The question is: Which fear prevails—the fear of change or the fear of leaving everything as it is?
As long as someone claims that they would like to resolve a situation but that it is not possible for one reason or another, stagnation will prevail—and there will be no end to the situation in sight. The first step is taken as soon as the person takes full responsibility for their “not-wanting-to” and “not-being-able-to.”
JJK: Does that mean waiting until this moment in life is reached and the moment of truth has come, waiting until the person plucks up courage and takes action?
Insights must be followed by action!
BABAJI: To empty the cup of pain to the dregs. The question is, which fear dominates? The answer to this question determines people’s behavior.
This characteristic explains why so many people are unable to make life-changing decisions. Please understand this:
Inner insights must be followed by action, because only then can the new be anchored on all planes and the transformation processes that have been triggered be completed.
Thoughts without words remain thoughts, words without actions remain words, actions without inner insight remain powerless and meaningless.
JJK: Does that mean waiting until the time is right?
BABAJI: Until a person clearly perceives the impulses of their heart and is willing to follow the guidance of their soul, they must face their destiny, for better or for worse!

JJK: I wonder why so many people have to reach the end before they can start anew? I remember when SAI BABA said to me during a light session years ago: “You have to resolve this with your friend, explain to him what you are doing now, how you want to revive the friendship so that you can continue to grow spiritually. You have to address the issue with your friend specifically and explain yourself, regardless of his reaction.”
At the time, this was a big ask for me, because I knew that this friendship was over after my “spiritual coming out” – and indeed, after I immediately followed SAI BABA’s advice, my life took a completely different turn, in a positive direction with a great deal of ease and joy that I had never known before. I was told:
“You must first be willing to give up the old in order to receive the new. If you remain in the old, the new cannot come to you.”
Yes, and suddenly everything was clear and I found my decision confirmed in daily life: this long-standing friendship was blocking me from the friendships that arose as a result of my new decision. My life changed completely – also because of this milestone that I set in motion. Yes, sometimes concrete actions – even if they are difficult – are indispensable …
Turning fate around
BABAJI: Actions at the right time! When is the right time? Whenever you step onto the stage of your life instead of moving in an unreal endless loop of speech and costume rehearsals. Believing that this has something to do with the actual performance, you waste time and life energy.
I say to you: take courage and empower yourself with true words, clear attitudes, and courageous actions.
That is the way, unless you want to prolong your journey through the lowlands of attachments.
When is a person ready for real change?
As soon as they have matured inwardly and reached the pain threshold of the unbearable. Then everything changes in a single moment!
This is what is becoming apparent in more and more people today: to turn their own destiny around – like a boomerang with no return.
