High Self
However, it is not the ego that determines how strong a person’s ego is, but the person’s identification with the ego. Every person has the choice between egocentricity or self-determination. Those who are connected with their self perceive the ego differently in terms of its meaning. This person uses their ego as a servant and makes sure that the ego does not place itself at the center of life or become the master of life.

The Ego
Channeled by Jahn J Kassl
Dear Mr. Kassl!
My question to the divine spiritual world would be: “What is the ego from the perspective of the spiritual world?”
Thank you very much for your effort to make yourself available as a channel.
Kind regards
Petra
Self-centeredness or self-determination?
The ego is linked to the embodiment of a person and is established at the beginning of the incarnation. The end of an incarnation also means the end of the ego. On a spiritual level, the ego has no justification, as we act in higher dimensions through the self.
On the third dimensional density of existence the ego has the important function for the human being of meeting the physical and psychological needs of a person and of alerting the person when it sees its ability to survive threatened or endangered.
In contrast to the self, the ego is a temporal phenomenon and only pursues interests that are conducive to earthly life and the physical and psychological survival of a person. Too strong an identification with the ego leads to a selfish personality that is only focused on its own needs.
A bird’s eye view of life is hardly possible or only possible to a limited extent for these people.
From a spiritual point of view, the ego is the navigator in earthly matters. It recognizes threats, warns of approaching dangers and protects what it sees as needing protection. The ego is closest to itself and this is precisely where it has its value, justification and significance.
Servant or tyrant?
This means that the more constant and stable a person’s connection to the eternal divine is the fewer fears can be triggered. In this way, the ego becomes unemployed and an exaggeration of the ego is impossible!
Those who know that their life is eternal and death is an illusion remain unimpressed by alarmism and the fears of deprivation and loss to which the ego is naturally subject and make decisions based on their own inner self.
To summarize: The transient ego fulfills its valuable tasks during a human life but loses its importance to the extent that the person interacts with and is connected to their self.
With the earthly shedding of the body, the ego dissolves completely and we return to our spiritual home under the aegis of the Self.
This means that an intact or inactive connection to your Self determines the influence the ego has on your everyday decisions throughout your life.
Where do you direct your attention and to whom do you give power? The ego as a good servant or as a great tyrant? The self as the highest authority or as a forgotten reality?
Life by life you come closer to this truth –
in GOD’S GRACE.
